Electric Transport

Liftroller E Mover electric trolley

The Liftroller E Mover is a remote-controlled electric material trolley with a flat deck and a powered raise and lower function. It carries 1,200 kg and adjusts from 535 mm to 1,235 mm, so it moves heavy packs through a building and then sets them down at a comfortable working height.

What the Liftroller E Mover does

The E Mover is the flat-deck version of the E Wagon. Same drive, same remote, same 1,200 kg rating. What changes is the top: instead of rollers it has a flat platform, so it takes loads that are lifted on rather than rolled on.

The lift range is the useful part. It goes from 535 mm off the ground up to 1,235 mm, which means it can pick up off the floor and then present the load at bench height. Trades use it as a working platform rather than just a way of moving things.

It steers on both axles, so it turns inside its own length in a way a fixed-axle trolley cannot, and there are recessed slots in the deck for trestles so you can lower a load off it and drive away.

How it works on site

  1. 1

Lower the deck and load it

Down to 535 mm, so a pallet jack or forklift can place a pack on it easily.

  2. 2

Drive it in on the remote

One-handed control, dual-axle steering, and a safety limit that keeps the speed down until the deck is lowered.

  3. 3

    Raise it to working height

Powered lift to 1,235 mm turns the trolley into a bench, so the trade is not bending to the floor all day.

  4. 4

    Drop the load onto trestles

Recessed slots in the deck let you lower the pack onto trestles and take the machine away for the next run.

Flat deck suits pipe, plant and anything lifted on with a forklift

What it carries

Flat deck, so it suits anything you would put on with a forklift rather than roll on off a conveyor.

  • Plant and mechanical equipment
  • Pipe, duct and long sections
  • Switchgear and cabinets
  • Palletised stock in production and warehousing
  • Anything you want presented at bench height rather than on the floor
It proved to be an incredibly useful piece of equipment for moving boxes of our product around our warehouse, significantly reducing physical strain on our team and saving valuable man-hours.

Got a question about your site?

Openings, floor levels, load weights: send us the details and we'll tell you straight whether the Liftroller E Mover is the right call.

Where it is used

Plant and equipment

Flat deck suits anything you would put on with a forklift: pipe, ductwork, switchgear, tanks.

A mobile bench

Raise it to 1,235 mm and it becomes a work surface at the right height, which is better for the crew than working off the floor.

Production and workshops

It is not only a construction machine. It suits factories moving heavy components between stations.

Tight internal spaces

Both axles steer and there is no handle, so it turns in corridors and lift lobbies.

The two share a chassis, a drive and a 1,200 kg rating. Pick on how the load gets onto the machine.

Working out whether it pays

The E Mover earns its place on repetition. If the same load is being moved and lifted several times a day, count these lines.

Labour hours on material handling

Count the people and the hours currently spent carrying, and what those hours are worth on your rates. This is usually the biggest line by a distance.

Crane and hoist time

Every lift to ground level that then has to be moved again is a lift you paid for twice. Landing on the floor removes the second handling.

The goods lift

If materials are going up in the lift, other trades are waiting for it. Freeing the lift has a programme cost attached that rarely gets counted.

Rigging and ground space

External hoists and scaffold bays need somewhere to stand and something to tie to. On a tight site that space has a real cost, or does not exist at all.

Damage and rework

Carried materials get dropped, scuffed and cornered. Sheets rolling on a level bed do not.

Injury and lost time

Manual handling is one of the largest causes of lost-time injury in Australian construction. Fewer carried loads is fewer chances for a back injury on your job.

It is not only a construction machine. Production floors and warehouses use it for the same reason: fewer hands on the load, and the load presented at the right height.

Common questions

It is a remote-controlled electric material trolley with a flat deck and a powered raise and lower function, rated to carry 1,200 kg.

1,200 kg. The trolley itself weighs 540 kg. Note that some older printed specification sheets have these two figures the wrong way round.

From 535 mm at its lowest to 1,235 mm at its highest, under power.

Only the top frame. The E Mover has a flat deck, the E Wagon has rollers for pairing with the Liftroller Wall.

Up to 6 km/h, and it will not reach full speed until the deck is lowered.

Yes, it has integrated lifting points for a crane or forklift.
