Getting hold of the right material handling kit in the UK has been the awkward part of working with us until now. That has changed. We have signed an agreement with 4 Cladding Services, who will supply the full Liftroller range for hire and for purchase across the UK.
What UK contractors can get
The whole range is available through 4 Cladding Services, for hire or to buy:
- Liftroller Wall systems for moving material up and into a building through the facade
- Liftroller Floor for landing crane loads on the working level, with a 1,500 kg working load limit
- Liftroller E Wagon for shifting heavy material once it is inside, up to 1,200 kg on remote control
- Liftroller E Mover for tight interior work through standard doorways
The rest of the range, including the Liftroller Stacker, Table, Crane and Trestle, is available through the same arrangement.
Facade work is where getting material to the right level stops being a detail and starts being the programme.

They know facades. That is the short version, and it is the reason this works.
Cladding and facade contractors deal with the exact problem Liftroller was built for: heavy, awkward, expensive material that has to get to a specific level of a building without being damaged and without tying up a crane all day. Hire or buy
Both are on the table, and the right answer depends on how often you will use it.
Hire suits a single project or a short programme. Short term rental for a specific job, longer hire for an extended contract, terms set around your dates, and delivery and collection included.
Buying starts to pay once you are running several jobs a year. The same units move between sites, so the cost per project drops each time. Financing is available, as is operator training and ongoing technical support.

The problems this is meant to solve
UK sites, particularly urban ones, keep hitting the same four walls:
No room at ground level. You cannot store what you cannot fit, so material has to arrive close to when it is installed and go straight to the level it belongs on.
Access through the existing building. Standard doorways, existing lifts with weight limits, corridors that were never designed for a pallet.
Safety expectations that keep rising. Manual handling of heavy facade material is the kind of thing that gets picked up on an audit, and rightly so.
Programme pressure. Crane time is expensive and shared. Anything that takes lifts off the crane pays for itself in the programme, not just the budget.
